Any warranties referred to on this website or in BCI Bespoke Cabinetry Interiors (“BCI”) marketing material are provided subject to specific terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions.
Warranty coverage applies only to cabinetry and joinery supplied and installed by BCI under a written agreement. No warranty is provided for works, materials, or components supplied or installed by others.
All warranties are limited to repair or replacement of defective workmanship or materials only and do not cover consequential loss, indirect damage, or costs associated with removal, reinstallation, access, or delays, unless required by law.
Manufacturer warranties for materials, finishes, appliances, and hardware are provided by third parties and are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. BCI does not extend, alter, or replace those warranties.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty Guide
BCI Workmanship & Materials Warranty
1. Warranty Coverage
BCI Bespoke Cabinetry Interiors (“BCI”) warrants that cabinetry and joinery supplied and installed by BCI will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use, subject to the terms outlined below.
2. Workmanship Warranty Period
BCI provides a 12-month workmanship warranty from the date of practical completion.
This warranty covers defects arising directly from faulty installation or workmanship, including:

Incorrect fixing or assembly

Cabinet alignment and operation issues

Installation-related hardware faults
BCI will assess the issue and, where a valid defect is confirmed, carry out rectification at its discretion.
3. Materials & Hardware Warranty
Materials, finishes, and hardware supplied by BCI are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty only.
Typical coverage (subject to supplier terms) may include:

Hinges and drawer runners: up to 10 years

Cabinet boards and panels: manufacturing defects only

Doors, benchtops, and finishes: as per manufacturer specifications
BCI will assist with warranty claims where reasonably required but accepts no responsibility for third-party warranty decisions.
4. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by:

Fair wear and tear

Misuse, abuse, neglect, or impact damage

Exposure to moisture, water ingress, steam, or heat

Improper cleaning, chemicals, or abrasive products

Structural movement, building settlement, or site defects
-
Environmental conditions including humidity and temperature changes
-
Alterations or repairs by parties other than BCI
-
Normal variations in colour, texture, timber grain, or material ageing
5. Environmental Movement
Timber and engineered materials expand and contract naturally. Minor movement, gaps, or alignment changes due to environmental conditions are not considered defects.
6. Site Conditions & Access
Warranty coverage does not apply where defects are caused or worsened by site conditions beyond BCI’s control. Reasonable access must be provided for inspection and rectification works.
7. Reporting Warranty Claims
All warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the applicable warranty period and include:

Description of the issue

Clear photographs where possible
Failure to notify BCI within a reasonable time may void warranty coverage.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BCI’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective workmanship or materials only.
9. Statutory Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not exclude, any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
